About the Role
As a production operative you will undertake a specialist and skilled role striving to achieve optimum levels of plant efficiency and product quality. The job covers all aspects of the production process from machine set up, automated and manual machine operation, process control, completion of all quality checks and associated paperwork, together with general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in fast moving just in time manufacturing environment
- Automated machine operation and maintenance of production records
- Experience with computer controlled systems essential
- Technical experience with Scada controlled system manufacturing plant preferable
- Good general level of education
- Good communication skills
- IT literate
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Reliable, co-operative, flexible to work early starts and weekends
