Role Responsibilities
- Engage our talented Engineers and Analysts to grow the technical and professional capabilities of the unit in line with the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] high performance framework.
- Coach and support individuals to ensure delivery of high quality work.
- Have a deep understanding of the unit objectives and support delivery against these and the unit KPIs.
- Enable our talented individuals to maximize their potential through a data driven approach. Develop your unit’s competencies through education, adoption and application.
- Support the delivery leadership team by ensuring teams are appropriately structured and resourced in relation to numbers, skills and experience.
- Be responsible for unit talent hiring, talent management, succession planning and allocating technical coaches when required.
- Promote and market the unit capabilities and successes with a view to advancing the quality of work and business value delivered.
- Co-ordinate and deliver performance reviews. Drive professional development, promote talent mobility and actively seek career development opportunities for your unit members including rotations, special assignments and opportunities to mentor.
- Continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
- Share knowledge and expertise across your department, the wider organization or beyond through networks, events and communities of practice.

Essential Criteria
- A minimum of two years’ recent experience in leading technical teams
- A minimum of three years’ recent relevant technical experience at a senior level
- In depth knowledge of and proven experience of working in agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of IT concepts, methodologies, architectures and technical standards, ideally gained in an enterprise technical environment.
- Proven track record in coaching individuals and teams on practices, techniques and technology.
