Job Details

This festive season our [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Events team will be back at Somerset House in London, showcasing the very best of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] brand, products and experiences! To help us deliver our events programme we are looking for dedicated Seasonal Events Retail Assistants to join our Events team on a contracted basis.

These positions are paying £11.05 per hour, and we have a number of contracted hours available from 20 to 30 hours per week. Contracts will run for 9 weeks starting from the 7th November 2022.

As a proud sponsor of the SKATE event at London’s iconic Somerset House venue, you will help to deliver our events programme and support with driving sales at our Christmas Pop-Up, Experiential elements and not forgetting the famous [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Chocmobile – our glorious chocolat van.

Show Us How It's Done

  • Create amazing Ice Cream of the Gods and Luxurious Hot Chocolate.
  • Maximise sales for our famous Chocmobile.
  • Provide World Class customer service.
  • Support and deliver professional, flawless events and experiential elements.
  • Carry out stock management and store operation processes to help minimise risk and costs.
  • Greet, assist and sell to guests visiting the venue.
  • Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties as requested by line manager.
  • Assist with deliveries and stock handling as directed.
  • Knowledge & Awareness of our product range and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s brand and ethos.

Who You Are & What You Have

Essential

  • Passionate about chocolate and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Out-going, warm, friendly and engaging personality.
  • Exceptional team-work and willingness to learn.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a customer service or retail role.
  • Previous barista experience.
