Regional Supply Planner

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Regional Supply Planner to join their Trading team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role is based at the Head Office in Royston, Hertfordshire, with three days on-site per week.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Managing stock across our selling channels ensuring we are maximising the sales potential to deliver strong sales and profit.
  • Working with our commercial, retail, warehouse, brand centre and planning functions to maintain consistent availability across all products, minimising stock and sales risks.
  • Optimising trade through efficient, commercial stock management, identifying opportunities with a pro-active approach to cross-functional working.
  • Meticulous managing BBE, ensuring the customer is at the heart of all sales whilst minimising BBE cost and risk across the business.
  • Identifying upcoming over and under stock risks to the business; working to minimise risk to availability, sales and end-of-life markdowns.
  • Ensuring stock from suppliers and the production line goes to the correct channels based on forward forecasts of availability.
  • Maintaining and communicating all reporting, identifying, and investigating any variance to KPIs and using this information to drive improvements across trading activity and conversations.
  • Actioning all allocation activity aligned to seasonal and new product strategies, plans, analysis of sales, inventory levels, capacity, sell through rates and retail deliveries.
  • Reviewing performance against KPIs and business plans to continuously improve all activity.
  • Ensuring all product and seasonal launches arrive OTIF across all channels.

Who you are…

Essential

  • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of retail trading with a commercial mindset in a fast paced, customer focussed environment.
  • Good understanding of stock and availability management.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within the retail sector, ideally within a trading function.
  • Experience working in an analytical trading role with an understanding supply chain.
