Job Details
As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Category Merchandising Admin Assistant to join our Trading team on a permanent basis.
Supporting the merchandising team to deliver their objectives of driving sales and maximising profit through efficient stock management; this support covers areas such as reporting, ad-hoc analysis, system administration and other tasks as needed by the team.

Here at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], we've adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days – you can work from wherever you like! The on-site location for this role is our Support Office, ‘Mint House’, in Royston, Hertfordshire.
What you’ll be doing….
- Updating daily, weekly, and monthly reports accurately and circulating to the team.
- Identifying risks and opportunities through data analysis, and proposing activity to drive improvements across work activity and conversations.
- Supporting the team by managing or initiating ad-hoc analysis to share with the team.
- Contributing timely communication with all stakeholders, ensuring a business-wide joined-up approach to sales forecasting, intake planning and stock management.
- Reviewing stock and sales at category level for the current trading season, ensuring a continuous improvement approach to all activity.
- Completing system and reporting administrative tasks.
- Working with the Production Planning team to manage and raise any changes within the demand schedule at SKU and category level.
- Working with the Outbound Supply team to ensure seasons and campaigns launch OTIF (on time in full), and channel level sales forecasts are maintained efficiently.
Who you are…
A good communicator, able to present figures and analysis clearly and concisely, written and verbally. Good prioritising and organisational skills, you can prioritise and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment. High level of commercial acumen with strong numerical and analytical skills.
Essential
- Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP’s / pivot tables, etc.).
Desirable
- Experience of working in a fast paced, customer focussed environment.
