Role Overview

To support our ongoing growth, we’re looking for a Manufacturing Finance Manager to join our Finance team on a permanent basis. Here at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], we've adopted a hybrid working pattern where appropriate. This role will be between our sites at Huntingdon and St Neots with the ability of working from home up to two days a week.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for our UK Operations, you will be partnering with the Manufacturing Operations teams, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of all financial transactions and reporting relating to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s manufacturing function.

  • Ensuring timely and effective delivery of all Manufacturing financial processes, reporting and analysis including:
    • Reporting and investigating production variances to standard, including reporting and variance analysis to budgets and Prior Year.
    • Overheads-Ownership of manufacturing-based cost centres.
    • Month End - Preparing and posting journals and Balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Preparing Yearly Budget & Rolling Forecasting.
    • Reporting on Tactical Capex Projects, including ROI.
  • Developing strong business partnering relationships with the Operations team to further enhance insight and challenge/support the business on operational KPIs.
  • Developing and maintaining the financial control and reporting of the standard costing processes.
  • Collaborating with all manufacturing functions to analyse costings for NPD Projects.
  • Driving process and system improvements for stock movements and standard costing.
  • Supporting with auditor queries as part of the year end audit.

Who You Are & What You Have

  • Great communication skills to interact with all levels across the business.
  • High attention to detail combined with focused energy and an appetite for change.
  • You can work with and analyse high volumes of data and summarise key messages to drive business decisions.
  • Strong systems knowledge to improve processes and controls, successfully working with cross functional teams through change.
  • Advanced Excel skills

Desirable

  • Food Manufacturing Experience
  • CIMA Full/Part Qualified.
