IT Innovator

Job Purpose
- Advise the Management Board, partners, and practice management team on trends in the legal technology market to keep [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] competitive. Report directly to the COO and Head of IT.
- Spearhead the internal Technology Innovation Group and work collaboratively with the IT team and Head of IT to keep abreast of developments across the legal technology market.
- Track key competitor and industry developments and recommend strategic action.
- Manage and maintain risk profile, AI and other regulatory requirements, ensuring implementation of new platforms safeguards against data and security risks.
- Identify opportunities for legal technology solutions that complement business strategy while safeguarding against risks.
- Review lifecycle of litigation and operational tasks, identify objectives and solutions for new AI solutions/platforms, and lead projects from implementation through promotion.
- Create, develop, pilot and roll out client and operational business solutions to drive efficiency and collaboration.
- Document and process automation to save time and cost.
- Lead demonstrations, training, workshops, facilitate consultations, and communicate with users across the firm to ensure understanding of technology platforms.
- Draft and work within financial budgets.
Person Specification
- At least 5 years working in IT innovation, including at least 2 years’ experience working with Legal IT solutions.
- An excellent understanding of the legal services sector.
- A creative and engaging personality, able to communicate IT solutions to lawyers.
- Professional and positive demeanour.
- Change management and software implementation experience.
- Team orientated approach, sharing ideas and being curious.
- Personal drive to improve and develop own self.
