Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd is hiring a Manager for their location at 23-31 Bradbury Place, Belfast, BT7 1RR. This is a full-time permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Profit and Turnover: Ensure systems and procedures achieve turnover, gross profit, and variable cost targets.
  • Business Planning: Plan daily/weekly/monthly/yearly tasks, manage entertainments strategy, promote the premises.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high level of service, upsell, and maintain management presence during peak hours.
  • Stock Control: Maintain strict control over all stock including purchasing, handling, portioning, and wastage.
  • Staffing: Manage recruitment, selection, induction, training, rosters, and absenteeism.
  • Team Development: Identify training needs, conduct appraisals, manage performance issues.
  • Health and Safety: Implement hygiene, health and safety policies and maintain records.
  • Administration: Complete reporting, timesheets, change of details forms accurately.
  • Housekeeping, Security, Licensing Laws and Miscellaneous duties.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good standard of secondary education (GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent).
  • BTEC National Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years senior manager level experience in busy bar and quality food service environment.
  • Event management experience, commercial awareness, team leadership, PR and media experience, IT skills.

  • Problem solver, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Leadership qualities, ability to organise and prioritise, good communication skills.
  • Sustain performance under pressure, team player.
