Salary: £12.82 - £13.11 per hour

About the role

Being a support worker is more than just a job, it's a career where you have the ability to make someone’s day and put a smile upon their face, creating opportunities for happiness! You will be supporting and enabling adults with their daily routines, which can range from a trip into town for a cake, coffee and natter to preparing their evening meal – each day is different.

You do not need to have worked in the care sector before, as long as you have the passion to support others, we will provide all the training you will need to become a great support worker. The work may involve supporting people with their personal care (for example washing, using the toilet or shaving).

We have Supported Living and Outreach services in Worksop and the surrounding areas that are looking for their next team member - please get in touch if you are looking for a specific setting to work within.

About you

  • Genuine empathy for the people we support, with positivity, patience, and resilience
  • Excellent teamwork and pride in getting a job done well alongside colleagues
  • Excellent face to face communication skills and a good standard of literacy
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload
