Job Description

We are a family-owned Retail and Distribution business with our Head Office based in Dundee. We are proud to serve local communities through our Company Owned SPAR Stores throughout Scotland and have a distribution network covering countryside to coast backed by outstanding operational organisation.

Layout Coordinator – LDC Dundee

Due to the growth of our business, an opportunity has become available for a Full-time Layout Coordinator to join our team at our Distribution Centre in Dundee. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and monitoring the warehouse layout to maximise space and operational efficiency, supporting the distribution team and collaboration with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

This role involves:

  • Management and placement of existing, new and seasonal stock
  • Maintaining accurate layout and stock records
  • Working with other teams to reduce errors and improve volume flow
  • Compliance with Health and Safety and all other related legislation

Skills and qualities:

  • Strong IT skills with good working knowledge of Word, Excel
  • Good numerical skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to build working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Fork Lift Truck Licence would be an advantage
