LC-MS Sales Specialist

Location: North West (field-based, travel across UK)

Salary: £35,000-£55,000 per annum

Our client provides best in class analytical instruments to scientific organisations across the globe. Joining their expanding sales team, you will be responsible for the growth in sales of LC-MS systems to clients across the North West and Central UK.

As LC-MS Sales Specialist, you will manage the full sales life cycle, advising on a range of LC-MS (Q, QQQ, MALDI-TOF & HRMS) instrumentation to a multitude of clients, including research laboratories, CRO’s and academia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initial contact to understand client requirements and analytical challenges/goals
  • Technical discussions and advising of best products/solutions
  • Input into the instrument demonstration process
  • Negotiating sale and project completion
  • Provide a crucial interface between in-house teams and customers
  • Attend and support events and conferences
  • Remain abreast of competitor products and applications

Requirements

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry or related subject
  • UK Drivers License and the ability to travel across Central and North West of the UK
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous Scientific Sales experience is preferred
  • Practical knowledge/ equivalent experience of LC-MS (MALDI, QTOF & QQQ preferred) systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills
  • Resilience and problem-solving skills
