Weekend Police Custody Cleaner
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking a Weekend Police Custody Cleaner to provide and maintain high standards of cleanliness at the Harrogate Police Station. This permanent part-time role (8 hrs/week, Sat & Sun 6am-10am) offers £12.71/hour. Responsibilities include cleaning custody suites, vehicles, rooms, and cells. Candidates must have cleaning experience, knowledge of colour coding, manual handling, COSHH, and health & safety, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. A Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) check is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all areas to standards required – including Custody Suites, Vehicles, Rooms, and Cells.
- Ensure appropriate PPE/uniforms are always used.
- Take instruction and advice from the Cleaning Supervisor.
Key Requirements
- Cleaning experience advantage, knowledge of colour coding, manual handling, COSHH & Health & Safety.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Must pass Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) check and have resided in UK for last 3 years.
