Digital PR Trainee
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Digital PR Trainee for a part-time, fully remote position based in the UK. This entry-level role offers structured training over 8 weeks, covering research, media lists, outreach, and securing coverage.
Position Overview

Core Responsibilities
Learning and Development
- Take part in structured training across Digital PR fundamentals
- Learn and apply how campaigns are planned, built, and delivered
- Understand what makes a story newsworthy and how to position it
Research and Campaign Support
- Support with research for campaign ideas and story development
- Assist in building media lists using tools such as Muck Rack
- Help identify relevant journalists, publications, and opportunities
Outreach and Execution
- Support the creation of outreach emails
- Assist with sending outreach and tracking responses
- Learn and practice how to follow up and build journalist relationships
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Digital PR team on live campaigns
- Take feedback on board and apply it quickly
- Contribute to a positive, proactive team environment
About You
- Interested in PR, media, marketing, or storytelling
- Strong communicator with good written English
- Curious and naturally ask questions
- Organised and able to manage time across tasks
- Proactive and willing to get stuck in
- Any writing, research, or media-related experience is a bonus
