Key objective

As a Digital PR Specialist, you’ll manage the daily strategy and execution of PR campaigns that connect with journalists - and with Google. From link intersection and keyword analysis to ideation, media outreach, and reporting, this is a practical role where you’ll play a crucial part in delivering results, resolving issues, and defining what excellence looks like in DPR.

Core responsibilities

  • Lead on the planning and execution of Digital PR campaigns - from concept through to coverage
  • Use SEO tools like Ahrefs to conduct link intersects, keyword gap analysis, and inform outreach strategies
  • Write data-led press releases and story angles tailored to journalists
  • Build and manage custom media lists using platforms like Muck Rack and Buzzstream
  • Spot underperforming campaigns and pivot with confidence - refining outreach, angles or formats
  • Monitor relevant news trends and jump on reactive opportunities
  • Join client WIPs, support in QBRs, and contribute to campaign strategy as the trusted PR expert
  • Mentor Executives on delivery best practices and lead occasional skills workshops
  • Regularly meet and exceed link KPIs, contributing to measurable SEO growth for clients

About you

  • Native-level English speaker
  • Proven Digital PR experience, with a strong portfolio of link placements
  • Confident using Ahrefs to shape DPR SEO strategy and report on impact
  • Excellent writing and communication skills (internal and external)
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solution-focused - you spot challenges early and act fast
  • Passionate about news, media and SEO - you get the buzz of a campaign landing
  • A natural collaborator - you enjoy bringing others with you and helping them grow
  • Worked on international markets or campaigns previously
  • Based in the UK
