What You Will Do

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Line Leader to take responsibility for leading a production line and team to achieve outstanding results in safety, quality, and efficiency. You will play a key role in preparing and running production, supporting your operatives, and ensuring performance targets are consistently met.

  • Prepare the line for each shift to minimise disruption and maximise efficiency.
  • Ensure machinery is clean, operational, and pre-start checks are completed.
  • Follow correct specifications, including programmes, films, and date codes.
  • Maintain cleaning standards before and during production.
  • Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure team attendance and address any absences.
  • Motivate and support operatives to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Lead daily “Top 5” meetings to communicate priorities and performance.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
  • Follow and enforce all health & safety procedures.
  • Communicate KPI performance and take action to improve results.
  • Ensure safe storage and correct rotation of materials to minimise waste.
  • Communicate any raw material issues promptly.
  • Follow company procedures and standard working practices.
  • Encourage teamwork, improvement ideas, and lean practices (including 5S and waste reduction).

  • Experience in a Line Leader or similar role within manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of production, quality, and safety standards.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
