Senior National Account Manager - Wholesale

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is partnering with a family-owned food and drink manufacturer to hire a Senior National Account Manager for their Wholesale channel. Location: Kent. Salary: £65,000 - £68,000pa plus bonus/£5k car allowance/Pension. Permanent, Hybrid (home based, 1 day in Kent).

The Opportunity

As Senior National Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of major national wholesalers such as Matthew Clark, LWC, Booker & Bestway. You’ll also lead and develop a team of 4 focused on both retention and new business, helping to drive performance, capability and commercial success across the accounts. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to customers, leading from the front, and influencing both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of large national wholesale accounts
  • Leading, coaching and developing two National Account Managers & 2 RAE's
  • Driving commercial performance, including growth, retention and new business activity
  • Building strong, long-term customer relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to expand distribution and strengthen partnerships

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in National Account Management (Wholesale)
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing or influencing P&L performance
  • Confident leader with experience managing or mentoring others
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capability
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership
  • Inclusive leadership style and ability to bring out the best in others

Salary & Benefits
