[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Gynaecology/Female Surgery Ward at Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil. This full-time permanent role offers a salary of £28,834 - £35,099 per annum (Band 5).
Job Overview
Ward 5 Prince Charles Hospital is a 20 bed gynaecology and female surgical ward which deals with elective and emergency cases. The ward also has a 4 trolley gynaecology assessment bay with an accompanying waiting room for 4 patients.

You will be joining a team of dedicated nursing staff who will provide you with all the support you will need to flourish, develop and encouraged to excel. Working as part of our dedicated multi-disciplinary team we will value you, and your contribution to delivering excellent, safe and compassionate care to our patients within the Acute Surgical Specialty.
The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible approach to work. A commitment to delivering high standards of patient focused care is an essential requirement of the post. You will possess the ability to work on your own initiative whilst working as part of the team, and the ability to develop relationships across professional and Organisational boundaries. The idyllic candidate would have a clear vision for best practice and a reparation for professional innovation
We have a structured team base ethos where we regularly meet and we also hold specific development days which will be underpinned with regular personal appraisals and a development plan. You will have access to further study and opportunities to expand your role in line with service development.
