In Solihull, you’ll develop specialist skills in one of the following roles: Electrical Engineering Technician or Machinist.

Qualifications Required

4 GCSEs at 9 – 4 / A* - C (5 or above preferred), must include maths, English language, and ideally Science, or equivalent related qualification.

Skills Required

• Genuine interest in practical engineering or hands-on activities
• Figuring out how things work, fixing things
• Initiative, adaptable, eager to learn, driven to succeed

Training to be Provided

• Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Practical Foundation Training – year 1
• Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Workplace Competence Training – years 2-4
• Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
• In-house training as required
