Role Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker for Cildewi House in Johnstown (SA31). We support up to 7 adults with Personality Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Self Harm and eating disorders. We tailor individualised support plans to promote independence in preparation for independent living.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support
• Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
• Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
• Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administrating medication
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
• Assisting with personal care as required
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
• Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
