About the Role
At the beginning of this year, [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] strengthened its in‑house recruitment capability with the introduction of a dedicated Talent Acquisition Business Partner. This investment has already delivered strong results, including a reduction in reliance on recruitment agencies and a more consistent, high‑quality recruitment experience across the business. Building on this momentum, we are now looking to further grow our Talent Acquisition team with the addition of a Talent Acquisition Advisor. This role will support the continued development of our direct hiring model and play a key part in how we attract, engage, and hire talent across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. We are flexible on location and happy to consider candidates based anywhere from London up to the Leeds / Bolton area. While the role is hybrid, travel to the business will be required to our offices & sites from the Northwest down to London. Operating within a matrix organisation, and in an industry that experiences regular peaks and troughs in recruitment demand, this is a varied and fast‑paced role suited to a recruiter who enjoys balancing high‑volume and specialist hiring while building strong stakeholder relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting recruitment activity across a mix of high‑volume and specialist roles
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide recruitment advice
- Proactively sourcing candidates directly using LinkedIn, job boards, and talent pipelines
- Coordinating interviews and supporting fair, effective assessment and selection processes
- Delivering a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
- Supporting the continued reduction of recruitment agency reliance through strong direct hiring solutions
- Maintaining accurate recruitment data using applicant tracking systems and reporting tools
- Contributing ideas to improve recruitment processes and ways of working
What We’re Looking For
Essential experience:
- Experience recruiting high‑volume and specialist roles, ideally within engineering or M&E construction
- Familiarity with recruitment systems and a range of sourcing and assessment methods
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a fast‑paced recruitment environment
Personal skills & attributes:
- Strong relationship‑builder with stakeholders and candidates
- Well organised with a high level of attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Able to prioritise and adapt to changing recruitment demands
- Enthusiastic about learning, development, and continuous improvement
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a wider HR team
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence (to support travel to sites/offices)
