Building Manager

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum

Location: Warrington, Cheshire

About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are working with a forward-thinking, boutique property consultancy operating across a portfolio of Grade A commercial office space.

They are known for a proactive and people-first approach, delivering a high standard of service across their buildings while maintaining a close-knit and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, providing a professional and responsive service.
  • Carry out light maintenance tasks and assess when contractor support is required.
  • Coordinate contractors, ensuring safe working practices and quality delivery.
  • Oversee building systems and report any issues to the Facilities Manager.
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs and building documentation.
  • Support tenant onboarding, move-ins and day-to-day occupier needs.
  • Monitor service partners including cleaning and landscaping providers.
  • Assist with building events, projects and wider team activities.
  • Provide occasional support to on-site amenities, contributing to the overall tenant experience.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of building management, facilities or caretaking roles.
  • Hands-on approach to maintenance, with confidence in handling minor repairs.
  • Understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with tenants, contractors and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of building standards.
  • Organised approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and email systems.

An IOSH qualification is highly desirable and will be looked upon favourably.
