What you'll be doing

• Understand the monthly meter read requirements and create effective route plans
• Read each meter and return meter read sheets daily
• Perform ad-hoc site visits for meter reads, customer queries, payments, and data gathering
• Understand charges and invoicing to assist customers
• Full driving license required (company vehicle provided)
• Build rapport and deliver excellent customer service
• Work collaboratively with team members
• Drive with due attention and care
• Report anomalies to the office
• Assist other areas of the business when required
• Opportunity for involvement in improvement of business processes
• Manage workload effectively within given timescales

What you'll bring to the role

• Previous experience in a similar role preferable but not required
• Commercially aware with a track record of achieving targets
• Strong problem-solving skills with resilience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Competent in Microsoft Office including Excel, Office 365
• Strong team player
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong logical and analytical skills
• Full driving license required
• Physical activity such as lifting heavy meter lids
