Medical Operations Manager

Location: Uxbridge, London

Salary: Up to £31.87 per hour

Job Type: Temporary (6 months, full-time 35 hours/week)

Role Overview

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently looking for a Medical Operations Manager to join their team in Uxbridge on a full time, 6-month temporary basis (35 hours per week).

As Medical Operations Manager, you will be at the centre of a dynamic, matrix organisation, partnering with Medical, Clinical, Regulatory and Supply teams to ensure the efficient and compliant delivery of key programmes, including compassionate use and early access schemes. You'll take ownership of operational delivery, drive continuous improvement and ensure that systems, processes and governance frameworks enable teams to perform at their best while maintaining the highest standards of compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end operational delivery of supply programmes, including individual patient requests
  • Oversee Early Access initiatives, ensuring smooth coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Act as a key point of contact for resolving operational challenges, ensuring timely access for patients
  • Maintain and evolve SOPs, work instructions, and training materials to support best practice and compliance
  • Support and lead audits impacting Medical Affairs and wider business operations
  • Maintain oversight of systems, trackers and documentation to ensure a single, reliable source of truth

Requirements

  • Experience in a Medical Operations or similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of patient access programmes or operational rollouts
  • Strong organisational and IT skills (MS Office; systems such as Veeva, SAP, or similar)
  • Ability to manage complex processes and confidential information
