Senior Hairstylist
Job Type: Full-time, part-time, permanent
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per year

Experience & Skills
- 5 years hairdressing experience
- Styling & cutting to a high standard
- All aspects of colour correction
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Building a client base through excellent service
- Prescribe correct care products to all clients
- Detailed knowledge of retail product ranges offered
- Full knowledge of all the services and prices offered

Interview and Trade Test
If you are successful we will contact you for an initial telephone discussion then invite you to the salon for a trades test. The interview process will be with the Business Manager and either the owner or the Salon Manager. You will be required to do a trades test and we need the following models:
- Gents (scissor over comb and use of clippers demonstrated)
- Graduated Bob
- Long Layer Haircut
- On one of the above, half head of foil highlights – with pre lightener and or high lift tint
Our trade test days are either on a Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. This will be unpaid but we will supply all products. You will need to discuss the process of each cut at the beginning, after the cut and then finally at the end after it has been dried (before any texturising). After, we will then have a chat to discuss the trades test and how we move forward, at this stage we will discuss salary options (commission or a guaranteed amount, this will be based on experience and what level you enter in as).
