Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join our People Team based at our Hamilton site as part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. 135 years of craft baking skills lie behind the quality of the special branded cakes, sweet snacks and slices we produce in Hamilton. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s is the UK’s largest supplier of celebration cakes to UK retailers. To be successful, you will currently be working in a similar position within a fast-paced environment, skilled in developing meaningful relationships with leaders to drive strategic people initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Act as a proactive advisor across the employee lifecycle, supporting performance, development, and engagement.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, organisational design, and change initiatives.
  • Use data and insight to identify trends and improve team effectiveness.
  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive culture aligned with company values.
  • Support the business across all HR aspects: best practice, employment legislation, recruitment, manager coaching, employee engagement, and people-focused projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • CIPD qualified
  • Proven HR generalist / people partnering experience, ideally in a medium/large unionised manufacturing environment
  • Experience across Organisation Design, Resourcing & Talent Planning, Learning & Development, Performance & Reward, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Employment Law
  • Strong ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • A collaborative, pragmatic, and proactive approach
  • Ambition to progress career and deliver exceptional results
