Location: Hamilton, Scotland, GB, ML3 0DW
Shift: Weekends, 07:30 – 16:00 or 07:30 – 18:00
Salary: Competitive

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for Production Operatives to join our Operations Team working on Line 1 in Hamilton. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is a leading specialty bakery manufacturer. You will work as part of a fast-paced production team, supporting the baking, decorating, and packing of cake products to meet production targets. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety. It is an ideal entry-level role for school leavers or those starting their career.

What you'll do

  • Weigh ingredients and prepare batches in line with approved recipes and methods.
  • Operate mixers and follow correct mixing techniques.
  • Carry out general production duties across the line.
  • Pack products at the speed of the production line, ensuring items are correctly picked, boxed, labelled, and palletised.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment following a 'clean as you go' approach.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and contribute to quality assurance.
  • Work closely with your team to resolve issues affecting performance or product quality.
  • Take part in training activities to build knowledge of the production process.

What we're looking for

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or FMCG (desirable but not essential)
