Fundraising Events Coordinator
Location: Woking, Surrey
Status: Full time (37.5 hours per week) / 30 hours per week will be considered
Salary: £35,000 (depending on experience)

About the Hospice
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are a patient-centred charity delivering palliative and end of life care to those with advanced life-limiting illnesses in North West Surrey. We care for patients and provide support to families and carers in the community, Inpatient Unit, and Wellbeing Centre.
Requirements
A successful Fundraising Events Coordinator will have:
- Experience in creating Risk Assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
- Strong understanding of GDPR principles
- Ability to use email campaign software and CMS platforms
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- High attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder relationships
- Analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience negotiating and managing external suppliers
A successful candidate will have:
- GCSE (or equivalent) English and Mathematics
- Proven Project Management experience
- Experience in event management
- Experience of budgeting and financial planning
- Experience writing business proposals
- Experience presenting to Senior Leadership
- Experience of fundraising/sponsorship
- Full clean driving license
- Flexible approach including out of hours events
