We’re on a mission to make money without borders—instant, transparent, and eventually free. We’re a team of people who are passionate about building the financial infrastructure of the future. The newly created Credit team is at the frontier of this mission, tasked with exploring how transparent and fair credit can empower our customers to manage their global financial lives more effectively.
The Role
As the Product Lead for Credit at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will be building [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s first credit products. Unlike established product areas, you will be shaping [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s product approach and capabilities in this new area. You will be creating the Credit domain, with the remit to launch Business and consumer credit cards globally and work across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] to define the ‘what’s next’ for other credit products. You will work with a global high performing, cross functional squad of engineers, designers and analysts, moving from strategy to the execution of high-impact pilots.

What You’ll Do

  • Build the "[Employer hidden] Point of View": Synthesize market research, customer pain points, and regulatory landscapes to create a definitive strategic recommendation for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s credit roadmap.
  • Be a Customer Champion: Deeply understand the credit needs of our customer base. Use data and user research to identify where traditional credit products fail them and how [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] can solve those problems uniquely.
  • Drive Strategic Execution: Work with Global Product Teams to help refine building and shipping initial versions or pilots of chosen credit features. This includes defining requirements for lean underwriting, application flows, and repayment infrastructure.
  • Be Data-Driven: Use an analytical mindset (including SQL) to build financial models, forecast portfolio performance, and define the KPIs that will prove the success of our credit initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory and Compliance: Work extensively with 3rd line Compliance and Product Compliance teams to ensure we solve for regulatory barriers without compromising the product experience.
  • Collaborate and Influence: Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Finance to navigate the complex global regulatory landscape and ensure any credit path we choose is scalable and robust.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management, with significant experience in fintech or financial services—specifically in high-growth or ‘0-1’ environments.
  • Strategic Depth: Proven ability to take a broad, ambiguous problem space and distill it into a clear, actionable strategy and point of view.
  • Credit Domain Expertise: A strong understanding of the credit ecosystem, including risk assessment, lending regulations, and the economics of different credit products.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: The ability to use data (including SQL) to inform your decisions, prove your hypotheses, and tell a compelling story to stakeholders about the future of credit at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
  • Bias for Action: You are hands-on and willing to do everything needed—from deep-dive research to writing product requirements—to make the team and product successful.
