Description
The Director of HR will report to the Chief People Officer and manage a Human Resources Coordinator. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to shape culture, support growth, and ensure strong, compliant people practices. In addition, this person will take an active role in the integration of two recently acquired companies with dispersed personnel. This is a remote role, with moderate travel required. It will be the right fit for a high-impact HR leader who enjoys being close to the business—setting direction while also rolling up their sleeves to execute with care, clarity, and sound judgment.

Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Own recruiting process and candidate experience across the organization; partner with hiring leaders; manage recruiting platforms and budget; help design and execute HR orientation.
- Employee Relations & People Operations: Lead Employee Relations function with discretion; maintain HR policies; support benefits administration and payroll processes.
- People Development & Performance: Own annual performance review process; train managers on performance management; support leadership development.
- Compensation & Benefits: Recommend compensation and benefits strategy; manage annual compensation review; support incentive programs.
- Organizational Development & Culture: Plan events and cultural touchpoints; shape internal communication; protect and evolve company culture.
Experience & Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior partnership with C-level executives
- Experience supporting a fully remote organization
- Strong background in recruiting, people operations, and employee relations
- Experience in high-growth, investor-backed environments
- Demonstrated ability to build HR programs from concept through execution
- Familiarity with HRIS, specifically with Paylocity, is a plus
Compensation
Market competitive and commensurate with experience.
