HR Advisor (fixed term)

  • Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time)

Role Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an HR Advisor to join their Client Services Team, delivering first-class HR support to clients on a wide range of employment issues and HR projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing HR Consultancy with career progression opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide professional telephone and email advice on all aspects of employee relations including Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence Management, Restructure, Redundancy and TUPE.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure all client enquiries are answered within service level agreements.
  • Provide support to HR Consultants' direct clients when they are unavailable.
  • Draft and update client HR documentation including offer letters and written statements.
  • Help draft, update and finalise Employee Handbooks and policies.
  • Assist the Head of Advisory and Administration with any work as required.

Person Specification

  • Practical HR experience at an Advisor level or above.
  • Experience of providing business focused HR advice to managers at all levels.
  • Ability to understand commercial information.
  • Educated to degree level (or suitable experience), ideally in HR Management.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current employment legislation.
  • Generalist HR knowledge.
  • Ability to write clear and concise English to a high standard.
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office, web-based applications and HRIS.
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident relationship builder.
  • Professional and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
