Chief Merchandising Officer

This role is responsible for defining and delivering the end-to-end merchandising and buying strategy across all categories, driving brand newness, profitable growth, and customer relevance. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of progressive leadership in Buying, Merchandising, and Retail, ideally in premium or beauty environments, with deep expertise in data analytics, AI tools, and financial management.

Experience & Capability Profile
- You will be an existing Chief Merchant or VP-SVP of Merchandising with 8+ years’ progressive leadership experience in Buying, Merchandising and Retail, ideally within premium or beauty led environments.
- Proven track record of delivering profitable growth in a fast scaling, multi-channel businesses.
- Deep buying expertise with a strong, credible global industry network.
- Highly commercial, financially astute and comfortable owning complex P&Ls and cash flow decisions.
- Advanced capability in data analytics, forecasting, CRM and AI enabled merchandising tools.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence internally and externally at Board and partner level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
