Description
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Digital Learning Designer/Developer to join a global pharmaceutical company on an initial 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering digital learning assets for the Digital Learning Development (DLD) function. This multi-disciplinary team supports the learning needs of global pharmaceutical quality and commercialization academies, impacting over 10,000 users across more than 50 countries.
The role involves leading instructional design frameworks, managing technical programming, art direction, and testing of digital learning materials, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and brand alignment.

Responsibilities
- Act as a design consultant and driver, applying digital learning strategies and instructional design methods.
- Lead or co-lead global learning event development teams and contribute to the R&D Learning Community.
- Select and implement the best authoring technologies for cost efficiency, learner engagement, and innovation.
- Manage storyboard design and oversee programming, build, and art direction activities for e-learning content.
- Ensure comprehensive quality control and user acceptance testing of all digital learning resources.
- Deliverables will support Pharma R&D, CMO, QSM, and Global Commercialization learning academies.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Instructional Design/Learning Technologies with 5+ years of experience in a senior digital design/e-learning role. Alternatively, 8+ years of relevant work experience with a proven promotion path.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in digital authoring and creative design tools, including: HTML5, Adobe Creative Suite (Audition, After Effects), Articulate 360, Rise, gomo, Synthesia, Captivate, and similar tools. Practical experience with AI tools and workplace AI applications is a distinct advantage.
- Learning Theory: Expert-level understanding of learning theory/pedagogy and its application in digital instructional design.
- Soft Skills: High level of self-motivation, creativity, and solution-oriented mindset. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is critical.
