What you'll be doing

  • Provide live Fixed Income pricing from portfolio composition files and NAVs using proprietary trading tools.
  • Research and advise on index methodology and impactful corporate actions.
  • Manage and maintain the primary market infrastructure to ensure accurate execution of primary market orders.
  • Support the internal sales and trading teams on all aspects of Fixed Income trading.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external Fixed Income Capital Markets teams and brokers.
  • Interact with various internal Technology and Operations teams to troubleshoot complex problems.
  • Development of new applications using Python and SQL.

What we're looking for

  • Programming experience in Python.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience in SQL an advantage.
  • Knowledge of and strong interest in financial markets.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Strong communicator (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
