What you'll be doing
- Provide live Fixed Income pricing from portfolio composition files and NAVs using proprietary trading tools.
- Research and advise on index methodology and impactful corporate actions.
- Manage and maintain the primary market infrastructure to ensure accurate execution of primary market orders.
- Support the internal sales and trading teams on all aspects of Fixed Income trading.
- Maintain strong relationships with external Fixed Income Capital Markets teams and brokers.
- Interact with various internal Technology and Operations teams to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Development of new applications using Python and SQL.
What we're looking for
- Programming experience in Python.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience in SQL an advantage.
- Knowledge of and strong interest in financial markets.
- Ambitious and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Strong communicator (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
