Technical Delivery Lead (OT & Infrastructure)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Technical Delivery Lead for OT & Infrastructure. Location: Glasgow, Perth or Aberdeen (Hybrid). Contract or Permanent considered.

Role Summary

The Technical Lead provides technical leadership across programme‑led delivery, working alongside Project Managers to ensure the technical workstream is delivered end to end through suppliers, integrators, and internal teams. Operating across multiple concurrent initiatives, the role is accountable for completeness, quality, and readiness of the technical workstream.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and maintain clear technical scope, acceptance criteria, and required technical artefacts.
  • Bolster and assure design quality by scrutinising designs and identifying risks or gaps.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architecture and security to ensure architectural intent is implemented.
  • Provide technical assurance to Project Managers by defining readiness gates.
  • Act as technical integrator, driving closure of technical actions across teams and suppliers.

What to Bring

  • Strong technical experience in OT and/or infrastructure environments.
  • Demonstrable experience providing hands‑on technical leadership through full delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience working in live or operationally critical environments.
  • Proven experience supporting delivery through third‑party suppliers and systems integrators.
  • Experience contributing to programme‑led delivery models.
  • Ability to define and assess technical readiness.
  • Experience working with architecture and security teams.
  • Strong capability in identifying technical risks and driving actions to closure.
