- Leadership of Staff: Support, guide, and motivate department teachers; manage professional development.
- Effective Strategic Thinking: Evaluate teaching practices, courses, and resources to improve learning.
- Resource Management: Optimize human and physical resources.
- Marketing & PR: Promote the department's achievements internally and externally.
- Contributing to Whole School Life: Engage in extra-curricular activities and school events.
Person Specification
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Experienced teacher with proven track record of success.
- Well-qualified graduate with an Economics degree.
- Excellent subject knowledge and dynamic teaching skills.
- Strong communication, organisational, and ICT skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
