The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive and dedicated team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare and education, encouraging children to develop at their own pace through hands-on, purposeful activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children’s development in line with the Montessori philosophy and EYFS framework
- Prepare and maintain an engaging Montessori learning environment
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Guide children through self-directed learning activities
- Promote independence, confidence, and social development
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
- Montessori qualification or experience (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of EYFS
- Previous experience in a nursery or Montessori setting
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
