The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Montessori Nursery Practitioner to join a supportive and dedicated team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare and education, encouraging children to develop at their own pace through hands-on, purposeful activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children’s development in line with the Montessori philosophy and EYFS framework
  • Prepare and maintain an engaging Montessori learning environment
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
  • Guide children through self-directed learning activities
  • Promote independence, confidence, and social development
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies

Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
  • Montessori qualification or experience (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of EYFS
  • Previous experience in a nursery or Montessori setting
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
