Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Teacher to join a warm, well-established nursery setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

The Role
As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a key person for a group of children
  • Planning, delivering and evaluating age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Supporting children's language, communication, social and emotional development
  • Building strong, professional relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
  • Completing observations, assessments, learning journals and reports
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and OFSTED requirements are met
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and engaging learning environment

Requirements

Essential:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in an early years setting
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Safeguarding Level 1 & 2
  • Friendly, flexible and proactive approach

Working Hours & Salary

40 hours per week (paid breaks included)

Salary: £27,500 per annum

45 days paid holiday per year

Shorter working hours on Fridays
