Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a qualified Level 3 Nursery Teacher to join a warm, well-established nursery setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
The Role
As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a key person for a group of children
- Planning, delivering and evaluating age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
- Supporting children's language, communication, social and emotional development
- Building strong, professional relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
- Completing observations, assessments, learning journals and reports
- Supporting children with additional needs where required
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and OFSTED requirements are met
- Working collaboratively as part of a team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and engaging learning environment
Requirements
Essential:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in an early years setting
- Enhanced DBS check
- Strong knowledge of EYFS
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Paediatric First Aid
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Safeguarding Level 1 & 2
- Friendly, flexible and proactive approach
Working Hours & Salary
40 hours per week (paid breaks included)
Salary: £27,500 per annum
45 days paid holiday per year
Shorter working hours on Fridays
