Job Description

  • Nursery Manager - Crowland PE6 - Full time 40 hours - £32,000-£36,000 PA - August Start

We are seeking an experienced and confident Nursery Manager to lead a well-established, 70-place setting that opened in 2023 and has already achieved a GOOD Ofsted rating with strong standards. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a thriving nursery with solid foundations and a supportive team, including a strong Deputy Manager.

Requirements

  • Previous Nursery Manager experience preferred (strong Deputy Managers considered)
  • Full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the nursery
  • Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are consistently maintained
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Oversee compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high-quality practice across the setting
