Toddler Room Leader

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Room Leader to join a growing team in a family run, private nursery in East Molesey. There is parking on the roads surrounding the nursery.

Requirements for the role:

• Has a positive and encouraging approach to leading a diverse staff team
• Has a genuine passion and enjoyment for working with children
• Has a commitment to safeguarding and will support the nursery in its high standard of safety and safeguarding
• Has a friendly personality with a flexible and calm approach
• Has a minimum of a level 3 qualification in childcare
• Is motivated to manage workload, deadlines and manage time effectively to deliver the desired results

You will be required to:

• Contribute to ensuring the nursery complies with all relevant legislation, plus local authority and OFSTED requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Ensure that children are kept safe and support staff to understand and, when necessary, follow Safeguarding Procedures
• Build positive relationships between children, parents/carers and team members
• Enable the team to provide rich learning opportunities for the children
• Promote and maintain the Nursery’s reputation for providing exemplary practice

Experience:

• Nursery: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Level 3 Early Years certification (required)
