Nursery Manager - Peckham SE15 - Full time 40 hours - Up to £48,000 PA - ASAP start

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to join a brand-new, forward-thinking nursery setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to make their mark from day one, shaping the environment, team, and overall vision of a fresh, high-quality setting with a strong focus on outdoor learning, including forest school.

The nursery caters for up to 38 children and offers a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the setting, ensuring high standards of care and education, and creating a positive, supportive culture for both children and staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a management role
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality childcare and early education
  • Ability to inspire and support a team
  • Knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
  • Support, mentor, and develop staff to maintain high standards
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Oversee planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the nursery
