Job Description

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a supportive and well-established nursery setting. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team, delivering high-quality care and education to children within a nurturing and structured environment. Requirements

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years (Level 3 desirable)
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0–5
  • Good knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education as part of a team
  • Support children’s development through planned activities and routines
  • Act as a key person, maintaining observations and assessments
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Support daily routines including meals, activities, and transitions
  • Work in line with nursery policies, procedures, and EYFS framework
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Support children with additional needs and work with external agencies where required

Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-6pm
