Nursery Practitioner - Winchester

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join our busy and expanding team to work in Nurseries in Winchester and surrounding areas. Hourly rate up to £16 per hour including holiday pay depending on qualifications and experience, and a range of benefits including: FREE access to online training to support professional development, £200 welcome bonus once you have completed 40 hours of work. We have shifts available 8am-5pm, 8am-6pm, 9am-6pm all through the week.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a level 2 or above childcare qualification
• Be adaptable and work well in new environments
• Have excellent communication skills at all levels
• Be reliable, punctual and flexible
• Have experience working with children in Early years
• Be happy working with children aged 0-5 years in nurseries

Your role will include:

• Caring for children 0-5 years
• Following routines of the nursery and children
• Working alongside the nursery team
• Ensuring the nursery environment is safe and secure
• Helping provide fun and stimulating activities
• Helping with routine cleaning
• Supporting the children at meal times
