Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Nursery Practitioner to join a busy, fast-paced nursery setting. Catering for up to 50 children aged 2-5 years, the nursery also operates a breakfast and afterschool club. This is a term-time only role with a 'Good' Ofsted rating, offering a supportive team environment and opportunities for ongoing training.

Requirements

  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years (Level 3 preferred)
  • Previous nursery or childcare experience desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings until 6pm

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 2-5 years
  • Support children's learning and development in line with EYFS
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, stimulating environment
  • Assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Support the breakfast and afterschool club where required
