What does this role involve?
The Maintenance Operator will ensure all sites are maintained to a high standard, focusing on safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role involves travel between multiple locations across the East Midlands.
Teamwork
Work will be allocated through a central system and working collaboratively with your team to complete them efficiently ensuring update progress, ensure smooth workflow.
Client experience
You will play a key role in building strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication and a personable approach.

- Maintain the general repair of the buildings, the offices and grounds, including changing plugs and installing wall-mounted items.
- Undertake a range of basic repair and maintenance work, as well as advise the Group Finance Manager of any repairs and maintenance work that requires a third-party contractor, i.e. electrical work and/or work coming under a contract with a third party, i.e., fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
- Advise the Group Finance Manager of any new electrical items in use that do not have an appropriate up-to-date PAT test label, and work with a supplier to help identify equipment during PAT testing
- Arrange meeting rooms for meetings.
- Maintain car parks, buildings, and disabled facilities to a safe and neat standard, considering the users’ physical abilities, with any failed equipment being reported immediately.
What we are looking for
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Previous experience as a general building maintenance operator.
- Good communication with team members to understand requirements.
- Basic plumbing, carpentry, and tiling skills
- Competency and knowledge to change a plug on an electrical item such as a toaster/kettle, etc.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
