Location: Chester

Salary: £28,957.50 per annum (Plus on-call/Overtime)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will assist the Service Manager in delivering outstanding care and support. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leadership & Support – Deputise for the Service Manager in their absence and support leading the staff team.
  • Service Delivery – Manage rotas and staffing to ensure safe, effective and person-centred support.
  • On-call Duties – Provide on-call support as required, responding to incidents.
  • Person-Centred Care – Build strong relationships and deliver support in line with care plans.
  • Direct Support – Support individuals with daily living tasks, including personal care.

What we’re looking for

  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable.
  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, Senior Healthcare Assistant or Deputy Manager preferred.
  • Confidence in leading shifts and supporting team development.
  • Flexible and reliable, with ability to respond to service needs.
  • Passionate about high-quality, person-centred support.
