About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will assist the Senior Support Worker and Service Manager in delivering outstanding care and support to individuals who enjoy active and independent lifestyles. You will play a vital role in supporting people with their daily routines and encouraging independence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with the individuals we support
- Delivering care in line with personalised care plans and person-centred approaches
- Supporting individuals with day-to-day routines and activities
- Assisting with personal care when required
- Encouraging independence and supporting people to achieve their personal goals
- Promoting wellbeing, confidence and social inclusion
- Supporting individuals to access the community and participate in activities
What we’re looking for
- A Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (or above) is desirable. Support will be provided to gain this qualification if required
- Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Worker, Health Care Assistant or Carer is preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism or Mental Health needs is desirable
