About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will assist the Senior Support Worker and Service Manager in delivering outstanding care and support to individuals who enjoy active and independent lifestyles. You will play a vital role in supporting people with their daily routines and encouraging independence.

  • Building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with the individuals we support
  • Delivering care in line with personalised care plans and person-centred approaches
  • Supporting individuals with day-to-day routines and activities
  • Assisting with personal care when required
  • Encouraging independence and supporting people to achieve their personal goals
  • Promoting wellbeing, confidence and social inclusion
  • Supporting individuals to access the community and participate in activities

What we’re looking for

  • A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or above) is desirable. Support will be provided to gain this qualification if required
  • Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Worker, Health Care Assistant or Carer is preferred
  • Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism or Mental Health needs is desirable
