FULL DESCRIPTION

Receptionist

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Receptionist on a 6 months fixed term, part time basis. Based at our facility in Great Yarmouth. Hours: 08.30am – 12.15pm Monday to Thursday.

Duties & Main Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors, ensuring they sign onto the Entry Sign System and are issued with a visitor’s badge
  • Ensure all visitors have read and understood the HSE Induction and notify the appropriate member of staff of the arrival of the visitor
  • Operate the central phone line, answering incoming telephone calls, transferring to the appropriate member of staff and distribute messages accurately and promptly
  • Process and distribute incoming/outgoing post, emails, and parcels
  • Book lunches and refreshments when requested
  • Maintain and update the internal telephone list and vehicle register
  • Manage all access key cards for staff office entry
  • Ensure the reception area is always clean and tidy, reflecting a professional image
  • Complete general admin tasks when required
  • Manage general office orders in line with stationery and refreshment requirements
  • Book and track training as and when required
  • Update training matrix on-going to ensure accurate records are held
  • Coordinate induction itineraries for new starters
  • Complete any onshore operations related admin as required
  • Complete any facilities related admin as required

Required

  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent, including grade A to C English
  • Previous knowledge of running reception and operating a switchboard
  • Experience of working within a similar role and is used to providing a range of administrative duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Completer / finisher
  • Ability to manage/control processes
  • Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Smart/professional appearance
