About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is the AI platform powering global debt markets. We are hiring an Editor to edit and publish breaking news, analytical features, and long-form research across our full coverage universe.

  • Work at pace alongside reporters, analysts, and legal staff to copy-edit, fact-check, and prepare complex financial stories for publication, ensuring accuracy on numbers, names, deal structures, and legal terminology
  • Own the end-to-end publication workflow for assigned content — from intake and editing through to final sign-off — managing multiple pieces simultaneously against tight, market-driven deadlines
  • Apply and enforce [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s house style across all content types, maintaining consistency in tone, terminology, and structure while preserving the author's analytical voice
  • Review and refine AI-assisted drafts and editorial outputs, ensuring they meet the same standard as human-authored content before publication
  • Collaborate with senior editors and team leads to develop and refine internal style guides, editing workflows, and quality benchmarks as [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s editorial function scales
  • Flag and resolve issues involving complex financial terminology, documentation references, and market-specific language across all asset classes covered by [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]
  • Carefully manage [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] output to ensure a coherent and consistent voice across our verticals, and be responsible for quality control regarding sourcing and accuracy

About you

  • Have at least 2–4 years of experience in a sub-editing, copy-editing, or editorial production role, ideally at a financial news organisation, data provider, or specialist B2B publication
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of leveraged finance, credit markets, and structured products — you are comfortable with terms like PIK toggle, cov-lite, waterfall, and NAV facility without needing them explained
  • Are a fast, meticulous editor who can process high volumes of technically complex content under deadline pressure without sacrificing accuracy
  • Have an instinctive feel for house style, grammatical precision, and the difference between an author's voice worth preserving and a mistake worth correcting
  • Are comfortable working across a broad range of asset classes — from distressed and restructuring to IG, CLOs, ABF, and private credit — and willing to build expertise across all of them
  • Thrive in a fast-moving, editorial environment and are energised by the challenge of making complex financial analysis accessible, accurate, and publication-ready at speed
