What you’ll work on

  • Source-building with bankers, investors, traders, lawyers and other key players in the credit markets
  • Deliver exclusive news and agenda-setting reporting, balancing fast, market-moving stories with deeper investigations into the trends shaping CEEMEA credit markets.
  • Cover a wide variety of asset classes across a diverse region that matters more now than ever
  • Collaborate with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s global team of journalists to break news, verify information and produce insightful, cross-market reporting.
  • Attending conferences, briefings, and other occasions to build and maintain source relationships
  • Receiving formal and informal training in interviewing, source-building, news writing, media law and financial markets

About You

  • Have experience in developing, reporting and writing stories for publication
  • Wish to join a rapidly-growing platform, winning market share, and attracting high-quality readership
  • An interest in finance, economics, markets, and understanding of basic concepts and terminology
  • Proven experience covering CEEMEA fixed income markets (Bonds, Loans, Sukuk, distressed/restructuring) is a must
  • Can work independently, with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have a desire to build strong sourcing relationships across finance professionals
  • Can write concise and fluent English, making technical topics accessible
  • Have ambitions to carve out a coverage area and build your own reputation as a financial journalist
